DIGNITY

Ye knights of realm, for whom you strain?

For the heavens or their lust - that put your hearts in fain?

Or, for the nation's love, you fight?

With honor! Splendour, and what might,

You lay your lives - on the battlefields

But what weal justice, to you it yields?

No justice! No bliss - it does lend,

And a cleaved soul none casts though mend

Not mend indeed - thus with a sigh

I mention a few - words hereby

That as you die for the dignity

You dwell in hearts 'till eternity
